Afrika Aware Benefit Project CD mixed by Bob Brown (posted May 20, 2002):

Bob Brown (Framework Music, Philadelphia) has recorded a 3 turntable 37 track DJ mixed CD (see tracklisting below) to raise funds for and awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa . 100% of the post production profits will go to Fountain Of Hope (part of Project Concern International's Africa KidSAFE program). FoH is a Zambian community-based organization which supports orphan and refugee children made homeless by HIV/AIDS, civil conflict, and poverty. Bob Brown has been DJing since 1992. This release marks his first major mixed CD. Brown is a 26 year old Philadephian with many releases under his belt and forthcoming material for Berlin's legendary Tresor label due out this Fall.

The mission of AfrikaAware goes beyond sending money to starving children. This is a project committed to creating change in the world. This is a project about having individuals realize the difference they can make, not just in neighborhoods, but globally. This project was started by one man and will reach tens of thousands.
