[Info for DJs]: Local and visiting DJs appear live on the Halifax radio version of Andrew Duke's In The Mix, but we're always looking for mixes from out-of-town DJs to play on the syndicated radio/Internet version and on the Cognition website. Guest DJ mix submission requirements: Cognition is interested in exclusive submissions only. Your mix must be recorded specifically for Andrew Duke's In The Mix. If your mix is chosen for broadcast, it will air on Andrew Duke's In The Mix (syndicated to radio stations and Internet sites worldwide) and be archived on the Cognition site. Format: mixes must be submitted on CDR only (please *do not* submit a mix on cassette, DAT, or Mini Disc) Length: minimum 30 minutes Tracklisting: mixes must include an artist/title/mix/label tracklisting (mixes submitted without a tracklisting cannot be considered for airing) DJ Biography: include information about yourself, how long you've been DJing, residencies, party listings, etc. Include flyers of parties you've played wherever possible. Contact information: include your name (if you want your mix to air with a DJ name only that is OK, but also include your real name), physical mailing address, telephone number, email address, and website URL (if you have one). Mixes cannot be returned. Please do not send your master copy. We listen to all mixes submitted, but due to the large number of mixes received, not all are chosen to air.
